Kallie
Kallie brought an incredible amount of joy to our lives. Her adventurous spirit and eagerness to please has made some unforgettable moments.
Together we grew as individuals, as well as a team. She taught me more than I can ever put into words.
Kallie was always up for a challenge, and enthusiastic about whatever harebrained idea I came up with for us to do. We trusted eachother explicitly. She enjoyed and excelled at many wonderful activities; agility, tricks, disc, treibball, scent detection, couch cuddles, hiking, swimming, playing ball, car rides, snacks, camping, the list could go on. She loved to strut her stuff in entertainment shows with our Diamonds in the Ruff agility team. And had never-ending patience for photo-ops and funny hats, even if she wasn’t particularly thrilled about it, but simply because I had asked.
She was a loving and faithful protector of our family. Quick to alert to any changes in our environment, and sensitive to our feelings. Always keeping a watchful eye on us, especially her “kids” whether two or four footed, and quick to dish out a healing kiss or twenty.
Always at my side, we lived and loved together for 14 incredible years, but if it’s not forever, it’s not long enough. Her absence has left a deep wound that will never fully heal.
We were blessed to get to love and cherish this amazing, happy, smiling, special girl.
My loyal best friend and confidant.
Kallie girl, you are forever loved & forever missed. Until we meet again my baby girl ❤️

Heidi
Heidi was a very unique dog from her goofiness to her behavior being raised with cats. She was endlessly loyal and loving through all the hardships our family faced. She used her strength and love to stay with us for 15 amazing years and we will cherish all the memories made possible by staying with us that long. She will be incredibly missed by family all over the world. 🐾🤍

Dora
I remember the moment I met Dora and I knew right away that she would be ours. She was absolutely adorable and more fiesty and spirited than you could imagine in such a small sweet package. I believe Dora’s motto in life was “ more please” Is the walk done already? I want to walk more please. Do I just get one stick to play with? I would like more please. Are you about to stop scratching behind my ears? Continue to scratch me more please. Dora would lean into anything she did with courage and pushed through patella surgery, vestibular disease, arthritis, cataracts and lastly CCD. She was tough and determined and spunky and loveable. Today is the most impossible day and we are broken hearted and as we say our final goodbyes to our Dora and realize our time has come to an end All I want to say is “More Please”

Mika
Mika was tremendously loved. Her sweet and affectionate disposition won over many hearts. She chirped and squeeked more often than she meowed , which along with her excited, happy tail was the most adorable greeting at the door after a long day of work. Although gentle, she could still give major side eye to anyone that got between her and her companion, Alison. One of her favourite things to do was to snuggle up on the couch with her and watch nature documentaries. She also loved belly rubs and would constantly request them (she was certainly too cute to refuse!). I feel so grateful that this beautiful girl came into my life and gave me comfort during some very challenging times. She will never be forgotten. Love you forever, my Mika.

Lola & Osito
October 5th, 2007 - July 12th, 2024
To our dear Lola and Osito,
Our beloved dogs, who watched our family grow from the very beginning, will always hold a special place in our hearts. You filled our lives with love, joy, and countless cherished memories. We pray you are now free of pain, enjoying endless amounts of boiled eggs, smoked salmon, and chasing squirrels to your hearts' delight. Thank you for being a part of our lives.
Love you always and forever.

Jupiter
February 2012 to July 2024
To say Jupiter was a special dog would be a gigantic understatement. Funny, quirky, serious, intelligent, curious, energetic, playful, stubborn … he had all these characteristics in abundance. He was an amazing dog, a much-loved companion, and an unequalled activity partner.
As I grieve the loss of such a remarkable dog, my wish for Jupiter is a never-ending hiking trail where he has lush, tick-free, green grass on one side and fluffy white snow on the other. I picture him bounding, diving and rolling from side to side without a single care or worry in the world … and every now and then dehydrated chicken hearts rain down from the sky. He was the very best boy, and he deserves nothing less. Jups, you are missed and loved ... until we meet again.
I am grateful to Dr. Laura for her support, professionalism and kindness to both Jupiter and I. It gave me such peace of mind to know that Jupiter passed surrounded by the comfort and peace that he enjoyed in his home.

Gibby
The king of his castle
Gibby was the sweetest, funniest, most loving boy, and also sassy and stubborn. He had the best personality and charmed everyone who met him. He was our entire world and will be missed tremendously ❤️

Walter
We fell in love the day we met. Walter filled our hearts with joy each and every day; he kept us laughing. His memory lives in our hearts until we meet again.

Zoe
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.“A beautiful soul has departed this earth, and our family will never fill the hole in our hearts that Zoe has left. We will forever miss the pitter patter of her little feet along the floor, always seeing her teeth sticking out of her mouth ever so slightly, and her high fives as we walked past. Zoe was a quirky and special girl that will be missed tremendously by us all.”

Pig
“Pig (originally named Cola, but quickly nicknamed for the constant oiking and snorting that came from her) was 100% the biggest personality in a compact cinder block of a package. Never has so much love and joy existed in just one dog. She never stopped smiling. She loved to sing, bask in the sun, swim, hang with her horses and cats.. and be as close to her humans as possible, always. There will never be another Pig. She is buried at the highest point of our hunt camp, under a beautiful shrine of the prettiest rocks and stones we could find, next to an oak tree. There is always sunshine there. Rest forevermore in the sun, little Pig”

Petey
“When we rescued Petey as a puppy, we knew he was palliative and that his life would be far too short. We hoped we would ccget the privilege of deciding on euthanasia in advance rather than in an emergency and that we would love nothing more than to say goodbye at home, surrounded by his favourite people and in his favourite place.
Dr. Laura was able to give us this privilege. We maintained communication when we knew he was declining in health and quality of life and she was able to help us through the process.
We were able to say goodbye on our back porch, in the sunshine with so much love. Euthanasia is one of the hardest decisions to make but it is a beautiful gift we are able to give to our pets when they are suffering. At home euthanasia, in our experience, has been more peaceful, private and calm.
This process made things less stressful for Petey and for our family. Petey was large and in charge, often reactive to strangers. Thankfully, he had met Dr. Laura during quality of life discussions so was happy to see her on his last day!
We will continue to refer friends and family to Lakeside Mobile for at home euthanasia. This service is really special.”
